Patricias' art works are often a restructuring of personal memories and places discovered, approached with an aim to create more ethereal images through layer, mark and texture using a variety of traditional woodblock, silkscreen, embossing and digital printmaking techniques.

Her images are created with a reaction and sympathy for the artefacts, photographic records and source material found and collected through travels. Working by selection of association and appropriateness she begins to juxtapose the collection of artefacts within a collage, building upon the layered image, allowing the composition to evolve and the underlying sense of place, time and memories to evoke her own personal interpretation.

Patricias' work shows the boundaries which are being dissolved between traditional and contemporary print and digital printmaking. She can integrate a number of approaches together to expand her printmaking potential through exploring combinations of media, process and production.

Her creation of digital prints in layers is intuitive and responsive, more akin to traditional printmaking, and by slowly building up the layers her artwork can and has resulted in a surface of depth and complexity.
